Display YouTube Videos in OBS Studio

I want to add videos from You Tube into my broadcast via OBS Studio, there are a few different ways to achieve this but I've written up below the way works for me, as long as my PC can handle it. The reason I like this approach is I'm not adding additional demand on my broadband and not going to have any adverts pop up if I was streaming straight from YouTube.

So here are the steps:

1. Find a website to save the YouTube video to your PC. This one worked for me: https://www.y2mate.com/en19

2. Open up OBS Studio and click on the scene you want to add the video.

3. Add a new Source and choose "Media Source", give it a name and click OK

4. Click "Browse" to the right of "Local File" and find the file that you saved in step 1.

5. Click "OK"

6. The video should now appear in your scene where you can position and resize it as required

It's as easy as that

HINT: Holding down the ALT key whilst resizing allows you to get rid of any black bars surrounding the video
